Selection Procedure

 

So, how do you go about applying for LEAD Prayana? We've made it simple for you!

 

  • Register yourself for the LEAD Prayana.

  • Download the application form for participant and fill it in ink or electronically.

  • Send the filled in form with a DD of Rs 100 in favor of "Deshpande Educational Trust", payable at Hubli to

 

 

 

Please read the instructions carefully before you fill in the application form.

 

The registration for Prayana 2015 is open. We encourage you to apply at the earliest make it to the top 150. We will notify you regarding the results.

 

Leaders

We choose to call our participants as Leaders. We do so, as we believe that each of you is a leader in making.

 

LEAD Prayana is a 14-day leadership journey that calls for young and talented minds to:

 

  •  Appreciate the concept of experiential learning

  • Stay in harmony with fellow LEADers and abide by the rules

  • Learn from the role models and panel session discussions

  • Ensure application of skills learned during the exposure visits and sessions

  • Cooperate with the facilitators and organizers to ensure a safe and pleasant journey.

  • Keep the passion and enthusiasm alive!

 

Young people between the ages of 18-26 who have demonstrated leadership skills in the past and boast a good track record can apply.

 

 

 

Selection Criteria

 

Applicants are required to fill in the application form. The application form consists of  questions that require the candidates to demonstrate their initiatives and achievements. Preference will be given to the originality of the idea, intent and clarity of thought. A highly qualified panel of judges who have prior experience in this field will be evaluating the applications. 
 

The candidates who make it to the next round will participate in a personal/skype/phone interview.

Selected participants are required to pay participation fee in the form of DD of Rs 15,000 (Rs 3000 as a confirmation fee immediately after the selection and Rs 12000 before the journey) in favor of "Deshpande Educational Trust" payable at Hubli or in cash to our address given in website or the regional centers at Belagavi, Davangere, Kalaburagi, Vijayapura, Kolhapur, Pune, Visakhapatnam, Varanasi.
